Great news SS Fans!

The SS’s that are in California are ready to move on out! They are now starting their new adventure. They will be getting on transportation trucks to head out to the dealerships, they will head out TOMORROW!!!! :wavetowel2:
I do not have the specific destinations of each of the beautiful SS’s. I can tell you that if you have one on order and know that she is here in the United States then get ready! Clean out your garage and get your driving gloves on, she is heading your way!

For those of you who do not have one on order, this is a great time! Speak to your local dealer and if they have built one, then theirs maybe headed that way. You can finally see one in person and make your decision. This maybe the car you were going to build yourself, the car of your dreams!

If you have any other questions please let me know and keep us all posted with pictures!

They might have beat me to the anouncement, but I have video of some cars heading to the rail yard. go to DSCN0732 - YouTube

And some stills from today----- Land vehicle Vehicle Car Parking lot Parking

What a site to get invited inside for this special ocassion. Of this shipment I was told that the major majority are going to points east of California by rail. Only about 100 cars of this shipment are for Calif. dealers. So while I go take some heart meds---- you all enjoy. I told you if you had patience, good things will happen!!!

Congrats to those who know their car is in NA as well as those who will be purchasing a dealer allocation!!! I'll be contacting dealers in the Houston area to see if they have any heading their way. Thank you so much for posting this exciting information!!!

...and no, the G8 isn't going anywhere. (but maybe the Avalanche lol)

****, just found out Texas cars are being delivered by horse-drawn carriage.
NO, NO, NO----Beleive me they are going on rail cars, and I saw a lot of Texas bound cars. I was only able to look at maybe 50 or so window stickers but from what I saw as far as disperseing the cars evenly throughout the country, General Motors has a great plan!!! You name the state and I probably saw one!!! I was told that to get to far east coast you are looking at maybe two weeks or a little more due to transfers to trucks. These rail cars hold 15 cars each and will make numerous stops in transit to drop off cars. I noticed that the rail yard drivers are easier on the cars. That means we will still have some "break-in" to do!!!
