I'm trying to figure out what causes the audio information to display on the HUD only sometimes. It will usually display the channel when switching between them, but then only sometimes will show the song when the station changes songs. I've only been using XM so far so not sure if it happens with other sources. Just wondering if anyone has noticed the same thing and might know what the secret is.

My ZL1 is the same way, think it just the way Chevy programed it to be. Every time a new song comes on, it flashes the name or when you change channels.

That's the weird part though, it only flashes the song sometimes when it changes. It almost seems random, but could be for certain reasons.

Song title may not be tagged so that the system can read it. Only thing I can think of.

I had a long drive this week and noticed a similar thing. I have a theory but haven't been able to check it out. I was driving with the Nav screen split to show both Nav and XM and I'm wondering if it doesn't do the HUD display when you have it already visible on the MyLink screen? Could be way off base, like I said, just musing out loud....
