Does anyone (Crazy Paul, perhaps) know if aspheric mirrors are available on the SS? I know on my VW Jetta Sportwagen they are very nice - give a much wider field of view than the standard US mirrors. I bought VW OEM European mirrors for the VW... Took all of 10 minutes to install them a few years back (plug and play with the connectors for the window heating etc.).

It would be nice if there were Holden OEM mirrors that would fit and support the heaters/blind spot warning...

Believe the manual indicates the SS mirrors are heated and give blind spot warning.

Are you happy with your current right hand SS mirror?
Whatever view it gives you will be the type of (wide??) view you'd get from a standard AU left mirror.
Aussies sit on the right to drive.

P.S. Modern VW exterior mirrors cause brown stains in your shorts when you first use them. If you are looking straight ahead and glance sideways at your mirror as a car is overtaking you, for a split second the car appears to be be coming straight into your drivers door. Also the VW I drove had 3 different focal point mirrors left, centre, and right....makes judging distance to objects behind you really difficult because you don't know which one to believe.

Paul, the left hand side US mirror is the one that tints automatically, the field of view is not very wide.

I didn't specifically compare it to the right mirror but all indicators are that right mirror won't tint it self.

What do you guys have?
