My screen name is the same on g8board and ls1gto. I currently have a Pacific Slate 09 GT and had a Barbados Blue 04 GTO prior. I'm really excited about the SS, and can't wait for it to arrive. Hopefully, the price will be under $40k and eventually a blue color.

What is the feature that will drive you to purchase? Except of course manual trans and no LT1.

I would say the same thing that drove me to the G8:

1. RWD
2. Small-block V8 with 400hp +
3. Performance oriented 4-dr (with usable backseat for a baby seat).
4. Mature styling

I wish the styling was more aggressive, but I still like the look a lot. The added luxury features are a nice bonus. However, they can keep things like park-assist to help bring down cost.

Under $40k is what were all hoping for, shouldn't be too much longer till Chevy SS pricing releases. I heard next month some official info will be getting release, so stick around, this should be the one of the first few places that info makes it too

There aren't really any features that will drive me to get the Chevy SS, but rather for what the car is as a whole.
