I'll admit it would definitely be more honest to say 1 of 9 especially considering the dealership added a spare prior to delivery - 1 of 2 is just catchy though. 🤣Oh sure, it was 1 of 9 until you bought it

Honestly I think number 1 of 2 as built by Holden to be accurate. Adding the spare after the fact doesn't change how it was built. If it was that easy, @Drone or @Vicarious_Lee could pull the spare out and either would have the only manual transmission Alchemy Purple Metallic SS with no sunroof no spare in the history of ever. Bottom line is the fact that you are an owner of the rarest of rare colors ever to adorn the SS. Of course if I pull my spare I go from #38 of 44 to 1 of 21, so maybe you're on to something...

I wish the user JJay03 could chime in because I believe he has the 2nd of 2 AP Auto No Roof No Spare. He was active until August of 2020, and actually sold his 2 of 2 in July of 2017.

That is true, I bought the car sight unseen from Texas and asked. But it does have a full size spare. By the paper I got from GM #3 of 4 as optioned. I wanted the color more than anything thoApologies. Your post here indicated no sunroof no spare making it 2 of 2.

[email protected] that AP color SS! Normally I too go to C&[email protected] Great Falls with my "16 Jungle Green SS (6Spd Man. and owned it for less than 6 months) but on Sat I could not! Would have been so awesome to have two SSs with unique colors there on Sat!

I've heard "62" and I've heard "61 (now that one has a salvaged title)" but now I'm hearing that it was "61" to begin with, which means that now it's actually "60" not including the salvaged APM, and "59" if we take off the "GM Internal" car. Could somebody please clear this up???
So many people are throwing out different numbers, and I do not want to be one of those folks, considering I'm now an owner, finally, of an APM!

The salvage APM was purchased by a member here and is back on the road.
The infamous "Epcot" car. Good story, great member.
