Mind boggling how several of the SS colors can appear so different just by the angle and source/type of the light they are being viewed in. Very nice! :)

Yep. RPG is very distinct (like the purple) in that regard. At first, it was my top choice -at times I still kind of regret not getting it. However, it's so drastic under poor lighting that it looks black. My wife pushed me toward the purple because it still looks 'purple' under poor lighting, just a different shade

Though if a tan interior were available with the green. I wouldn't have cared...I'd still be waiting today if I had to.

I made the mistake of ordering Perfect Blue before my wife also convinced me that since my favorite color is purple, I should change the order. Couldn't be happier. Only Heron White competes for my affection and I consider it equally as good-looking, but not as special as the 2015-specific purple.

Since I'm one of the few that can contribute:

Since my car is EPICALLY dirty right now, I think I'm gonna drive to grandma's and do some off-road pics tomorrow.

Oh, I don't think I ever remember you mentioning the PB before. You got lucky, dude. No offense to blue owners, but I think it's the weakest color available. There is no depth to it, it feels like the blue from a Win XP taskbar. If the Stryker Blue from the G8 was still available? Game over.

White, on the other hand, is my favorite of the 'basic' colors. My previous car was white, so I kind of had to eliminate it right off the bat.

Back to pictures!

The old white:

Comparison to the blue:

Potholes are BAD

I'm a terrible photographer. Actually, even saying I'm a terrible photographer is an insult to bad photographers. But, I think that collection does a decent job of showing the different shades that can appear under natural light.

As for the pothole, Ouch. As for the blue being the weakest color, well, now you're just a big 'ol meanie.

It's all good. The depth certainly doesn't appear in overcast or low light situations, but when the sun hits it, it is a beautiful thing.

It's a sweet car in any color, but that purple is special!

I know where that bridge is ...

I understand that you were in town visiting a co-worker of mine. Small world.

Post pictures of your Alchemy Purple here.

So, basically I'm expecting to see Vicarious_Lee check-in.[/QUOTE]

Recognize the Queen City in the background. Picture must have been taken recently, as I can see the All Star decorations on the Scripps Center that recently went up. Are you another Greater Cincinnatian or just in town recently? Also that purple really does look good.

Yes, it's hard to stay inconspicuous when there are only a handful of purples. Small world, indeed. He's a good dude.

I just went back and looked at the pictures and realized I know that bridge/skyline too.

I was back and forth at least a half dozen times between last August and November/December. One of my client's has their base of operations there.

Small world...

Love the HSV front end.

In my 'money is no issue' thoughts, I'd get that. For now, I'll probably just slowly continue to black out the chrome bits. Just having the blacked out side vents helps out tremendously. I'm thinking next about doing the DRL surrounds - I think the front end would look much better if the only chrome rings were around the center grills.
