FINALLY...

So I took delivery of my new SS on December 2, 2013 and only just took it out of the garage this weekend. I've put about 200 miles on the odometer and am having a blast. I picked up my son at the U of M (Minnesota) and took a nice long drive to the far side of St. Paul for lunch. He looked at me when I dropped him off and said... "you better take it easy with this thing or you're going to get a ticket"... Priceless!

Totally different subject: I am staying out of town right now so my SS was parked outside last night. This morning a good thunderstorm rolled thru and it hailed a little bit, dime size as best as I could tell. So far it looks like no damage to my car but I'm still worried. Then started wondering: does the aluminum hood and trunk mean more susceptible to hail damage or does it make any difference? just curious. Stupid hail, that's what I get for parking outside for ONE night!
