Interesting review of the VXR8 sort of a cousin to the SS.

Like the blackout trim, wheels, quad tails but not sure about the spoiler and the rear bumper cover.

Wow! Love to see some 1/4 mile results from one here in the states! Only thing I don't care for in the looks dept. are the tail lights.

Front bumper: yes. Wheels: eh, take or leave. Tail lights: yes! Quad pipes: YES! Spoiler: yes if it were made of clear coated carbon fiber . Painted brake calipers: yes!, especially if they offered a choice of red/yellow/orange. Rear bumper/diffuser: not bad. Design and looks are subjective anyways.

I wish the mirrors were body colored or if not body colored then clear coated carbon fiber to match the spoiler. Also wish the hood had some extractor vents... not one single vertical one like the new 14 Camaro or the ZL1.. but two vertical ones like a new Aston Martin Vanquish, just larger and more towards the middle of the hood, kinda spread out like on a G8. Not too boy racer I hope...but DEFINITELY enough to be noticed and distinguished between a normal SS and a high powered one....

What do you guys think they would/should name it? SS-V like Holden uses?(hard to call it that since Cadillac uses the "V" moniker. ZLS? Like the ZL1 but put an S instead for the "SS". SS GTS? Nothing else from Chevy has anything like GTS...but naming it SS kinda kills it because normally SS was a hipo package/trim lol. Either way I wish this car would come here to the US with all the features it has now plus a 6M, MRC, launch control, and limited slip diff with torque vectoring. I'd pull the trigger as soon as I could make a deal with the Devil haha

Hate the spoiler looks like a handle to carry it home with after you break it.
That's my 2 cents not everybody else's. As J Leno said about the( Suburba) spelling, hood scoop looks like some one took a trash can lid to it, oh and it has one of those handles too.

It's a rebadged HSV GTS - like all Holdens before it in the UK....

I had a good look at a black one here recently at a motorsport event.
Would swap all my cars for one in a heartbeat......
