I dont think there is a heat issue because its doubled wall. I had them on G8 and nothing melted.

I'm having a hard time committing to cutting off the Corsa tips but I know these will look better and fill the rear valence perfectly.

You will affect the back pressure of the SS, the motor will run horribly, it will throw codes or perhaps worse. The formula 2xRTC (43x+89/¥)-33 <77 [4cfm] will prove out what I mean.

My suggestion is to carefully pack them up and send them to me before you do damage. I got your back.

i do! single wall, custom made 3.5" round 15* slash cut tips
we started with some offset dual 3.5"single wall tips, but they were too wide for the opening by juuust a tad. so we cut them into individual tips, staggared them/offset them just how i wanted, welded them back together as dual tips, and installed on our full header-back custom Magnaflow system. The tips are 304SS, 15* slash cut ends, single wall 3.5"tips. Personally I love the look

That was in reference to my Solo Axle Back set up. The quad tips clamp to the outlet tube by design.
