seems like it was just wax that was applied, am i right?

have you heard of opti-coat, a permanent paint protector

After the polish stage he applied Black Fire Wet Diamond sealant and then the Dodo Juice wax over the top. I have used opti-coat on my Avalanche, but the SS is garaged at work and home, so I decided against using it this time.
If the SS was an outside car, I would have gone the opti-cost route.

Nice before and after shots. Those swirl marks disappeared.

That's sweet! Love the front view w/o a license plate. Wish Texas would drop the front plate requirement. Gonna ruin the front end look. (

I agree, I didn't and don't plan on mounting my front plate.
