Disappointed a configurator is still not available on Chevy's website, all they have is this: 2014 SS Sports Sedan: High-Performance Sedan | Chevrolet. It's about time the configurator goes live although there isn't much to do choose from aside from colors and a sunroof, we at least want to see how the SS will look in it's colors: Red Hot 2, Phantom Black, Silver Ice, Mystic Green and Heron White.

Like you said there arent many options so that is probably why they dont feel the need to rush the configurator.

yeah, they haven't really even set up anything for the C7 yet. Chevrolet's Ad planner site doesn't have ANYTHING about the SS either.

That's funny, because many Corvette guys have ordered their C7's and their cars are already being built in Bowling Green.

yeah, I can't imagine how many times a dealer heard "wait, whats that option look like?" when placing an order with a customer. the Z51 wheels alone come in 3 different finishes. Also the roof you can get it painted, glass, or the exposed carbon fiber. Luckily there were people out there on the forums that were able to photoshop the different variations to give people a good idea.

Regardless, I'm not buying any more new Corvettes until it gets AWD and DCT.

according to google thats "Corvette" in mandarin, lol, just a joke that GM gets bought out by a Chinese company by then. But I agree, I'd like to see GM utilize the DCT in their vehicles. The 6L80/90 are great transmissions for your typical automatic, and react very well with tuning, but its time to see what else they can come up with.

On the website you linked it states the SS has "A lush interior".
