What do you guys think about these matte black forgestar F14 wheels on the SS? Yay or Nay?

I happen to like the darker rims but not on the lighter colors like this silver SS.

I think they'd look awesome on the red SS personally.

not really, i wanted to photoshop on some of the new ISS Forged wheels but soon realized I had to reinstall photoshop on my computer

i just did that rendering quickly with the online wheel simulator Forgestar wheels has on their website

They looked great on the G8, I suspect they'll look great on the SS.

However now it's only a styling consideration on the SS, for the G8 it was to get a lighter wheel and some more width.

Stock SS wheels are forged.

Thats what I thought since the G8 and SS sort of have some design similarities, this is just a photoshopped image after all, it will look much better in real life pic's or even in person.

I also might consider staying with the factory wheels and just upgrading the tires.

Add a blacked out headlight housing to that along with blacking out all the chrome. A tastefully done black and red SS would look amazing IMO

Gloss black so it ties in better with the front end gloss black grille trim and the gloss black on the door B pillars. Do that with a gloss black spoiler on that silver and it looks more complete and less tacked on.

I think the front end needs much less chrome going on, the rear end was done right with good use of black without chrome

I laughed at the Halloween colour scheme reference and yes they could do with a bit less chrome. Holden will sell you one with just black plastic bits for the front, but want to charge you more for less. Personally can't get past that as not that many years ago the chrome cost more and the black was the base model.

Still in the end a great car. The halloween edition in the pics is my new car, which I pick up on Friday.
