2013-03-20

DETROIT – The redesigned 2014 Camaro SS will debut at the New York International Auto Show on Wednesday, March 27 at 12:45 p.m., EDT.

The 2014 model represents the most significant change for the fifth-generation Camaro, which has been the most popular sports car in America for three consecutive years. The new Camaro will be joined by the all-new Corvette Stingray and Chevrolet SS performance sedan, completing the line of new performance vehicles Chevrolet will offer for 2014.

Founded in 1911 in Detroit, Chevrolet is now one of the world's largest car brands, doing business in more than 140 countries and selling more than 4.5 million cars and trucks a year. Chevrolet provides customers with fuel-efficient vehicles that feature spirited performance, expressive design, and high quality. Let's hope GM MAJORLY improves the interior.

The ridiculously FAT curb weight and HORRIBLE interior is the only reason I don't won one right now.
If this thing get's a decent interior, and the SS Sedan is priced much higher, the Camaro starts looking like a viable alternative, especially with a TR6060.
Just curious but what about the 2012/2013 Camaro Interior do you not like?

I like Ed Welburn. He's been gracious, a total gentleman, and a true "car guy" every time I've spoken to him.

With that said, in addition to the HORRIBLE visibility and lack of interior room, I hate everything about that interior, other than the steering wheel.

For a 2014 SS Sedan or 2014 Camaro 2SS, I think this is a starting point:

Old E55 interior:

This should be the goal:

If GM can do this as the base model C7 interior below, they should be able to do something similar iin the SS Sedan and 2014 Camaro:

The 1st pictured I posted above is the G35/G37 interior which I LOVE and could have been purchased for $30k in 2007.

(I HATE the limited time we are allowed to modify out posts.)
I absolutely hate those dual pod instruments.

Also, I hate that those cheesy chrome bezels on everything.
Nice post Spectro.

I still don't like the chrome.
But, that's not bad.
