Holden, General Motors’ Australian subsidiary, unveiled another version of its new Commodore sedan that previews the upcoming Chevrolet SS performance sedan more than ever.

The SS V is a sportier version of the Commodore than the VF seen last weekend. The Chevrolet-badged version isn’t far away either; GM will debut the car on Saturday, February 16 during the Daytona 500.

Since the SS-V is the sportier version of the VF commodore, I wonder how much closer it is to being like our 2014 Chevrolet SS??

A list of Commodore SS V specifications would help but they seem to be staying tight lipped about it so far.

Looks like we will know tomorrow at the unveiling.

My guess is take the Holden badge off the picture above and put on a Chevy Bowtie and you've got it.

apparently LS3, Staggered wheel fitment, no manual I am guessing initially. All the same tech features announced for the Holden variant ie: HUD, Mylink auto park function and so on. 355mm Rotors up front
