The car's ECM is easily accessible for those that want to have a good tune but don't want to change the stock box. I did this on my '08 G8, but on the '09s they put it under the fuse box and it's much harder to get to.
I also like the little plastic grab handle on the inside of the trunk lid to assist in closing. Nice that the lid is now light enough to spring all the way open on its own now too.
Not a big fan of the shiny black interior parts. Too easy to scratch and hard to keep clean. I'm sure there quill be aftermarket stuff to fix that (or some PlastiDip).

ECM is below the fuse box, mounted vertically with easy access from the engine side. Folks that want to keep a virgin ECM can get a second one and have their tuner do his thing on thy one. Stock box gets swapped back for dealer visits. I kept 2-3 different tunes on my laptop and flashed the box as needed.

Where are you going to get the second box? Since the 5th Gen Camaro came out, GM has had a very tight reign on them. You can't just buy one from the dealer, and they are all VIN based.

I also spotted this on Doug's SS last week when he graciously allowed me to stop by and check it out.

I went back to the dealer and ID'd the part, ordered one, and plan to put it on my 2011 PPV if it will work. $10 - $15 in parts, no big deal if it doesn't work.

It is a common GM part, used on multiple platforms, and it's made in the US--at least something on these cars is US-made! SS gets it, but 2014 PPV does not.

Has anyone noticed the shape and color of the 'you are here' arrow on the nav display? I've seen lots of these arrows in late model GM cars and this one looks a bit different. I think it may be an insider's way of paying homage to the iconic Pontiac arrowhead from G8 days...
