Well it looks like I will be going on a 1200 mile drive over 4 days. It will be a good time getting the car out on the open road for a long trip! That will put me close to the 2000mile mark on the car in a little over one month!

Awesome, that is the ultimate way of breaking in the engine, road trip! I know some guys that do this just to speed up the break in process

He's already broken in so he's good to go. You want to avoid static road speed/highway driving during break in procedures. Worst thing you can do is turn on cruise control for a couple hundred miles.

^ correct.. a lot owners manuals say to avoid highway driving for the first couple of hundred miles and make frequent starts and stops
