Now that it's the end of the month the private offer certificates are randomly popping up again. They usually start 1 week before the end of the month.

Instructions:

Clear cookies and cache on your computer.

Disable pop up blocker in your browser.

Go to Chev site punch up Camaro look around and click on a few learn more links like you're shopping.

Build one.

On the summary page MAKE SURE YOUR ZIP CODE IS CORRECT. Then click search inventory.

Randomly and occasionally a pop up that you must fill in comes up for a $1000 private offer!

It is combinable with all rebates and GM card points but not another private offer certificate.

Fill it in and submit and wait for the email with the program and authorization codes!

Be warned you must be quick in filling it out ... sometimes it disappears in like 10 seconds and other times in about 1 minute! This is a known site issue and calling Chevrolet and complaining will get you nowhere!

I just had one pop up ... I tried it for fun and it did even with the holiday pricing and $500 rebates on a Camaro!!!

Sometimes you have to do it 20 times a day for a few days to get one to pop up or pop up and let you finish filling it in.... but a grand fits in my pocket real well. So just keep trying! Just remember to clear cookies and cache each time so it doesn't remember you!

The one I just had pop up disappeared in 10 seconds so I could NOT see if it excluded the SS. In the past they were good on all Chevrolets but excluded the Camaro ZL1, Cruze, Sonic, and Spark. I'm sure the Stingray will be excluded.

Not on the SS

Got a voucher done ... I built the same car 2x without clearing cookies and cache and it popped up the second time.

But the SS is excluded .... I expected this.

But if you're looking at what's not excluded it is worth the effort!

You can also get "private offers" by putting your name & email on drawings at car shows, state fairs, etc. This info gets distributed to local dealerships but also put on lists for special offers via email. Just keep in mind that you may be contacted by the local dealership.

Huh. I didn't know anything about this. GMs website has easter eggs worth real cash? That's pretty sweet.

This was from last year and I don't think they are doing this anymore. I only get the "get a quote" pop up now. Anywho; the SS was excluded.
They seem to still be doing it. I was building one and when I clicked on the accessories tab the offer came up and I printed it out. It's for 2014 or 2015 SS ($1000) along with other cars and some were $1500. I'm just not sure if I can use it to order a car because it says must be used by 1/2/2015 from dealer stock.

It must be entered in the system as delivered by the dealer by the expiration date on the Certificate so the answer is a resounding NO.

Also, the system if I remember correctly is smart enough to know dealer stock vs retail sold order types.

All..

GM and Dealer can work this out if they want your business as I received a two vouchers from GM which had expired date from prior circumstance..The vouchers were for prior repairs on different GM vehicle and worth $1500 + $500 being two separate ones. Being GM customer the dealership was able to revalidate the expired vouchers and use toward purchase of my Chevy SS..So what I am saying is that GM and Dealership can do what ever they want to make a car deal..Best of luck in your purchase!:)

Interesting, I just walked into my dealer today to "check" on my order and inquire about getting the $1000 off. I was told as long as it's delivered by 1/2....... We know that's not going to happen.

I'll keep than in my back pocket...

The "goodwill vouchers" given for customer retention for prior repairs are a different animal than the web private offer. I have never seen an expired web private offer reactivated. It never hurts to try though!
