Wow, what a car. Hands down the SS is so far above anything out there. No one will believe you when you tell them about the SS. I came out of a 75K German Car that couldn't touch a stick to the SS.

High Points:

• Fit and Finish

• Interior...Comfortable and Classy with some sex appeal mixed in.

• Speed (way faster than 5 seconds 0-60)

• Sound...intoxicating to say the least.

• Handling and road feel...think BMW 5 series

Weak Points

• No guide lines on rear-view camera

• No Garage Opener

• No Heated Steering Wheel

• Do not let your dealer tint the rear window...you will kiss AM radio goodby.

Truth is, after 45 years in the industry this SS is a slam dunk winner. Complaints will come from the envious, not the owners.

Good to hear. Enjoy!! I'm sure there wouldn't be any around my area if the general public new what they were and it wasn't the start of winter. Many have complained about the price but it doesn't seem justified considering what you're getting.

Your first two negatives are discussed extensively on recent threads, have a look around. The reversing guides are fixed in the options menu.

The third? You know you live in the worlds hottest and driest continent when you never even considered the need for a heated tiller.

The fourth? What does rear tint do to AM radio reception???? And does the US even have AM stations any more?!?!

Uh, maybe not. The thread which contains a conversation about the reversing camera has gone pear shaped. A thread dedicated to this issue is said to be in the works.

I don't know why people use those lines anyway. You still need to look around as we'll as use your wing mirrors. If you get caught in the habit of staring at the reversing camera things are bound to go pear shaped quickly!

Metallic tint can mess with AM radio reception if the antenna is in the window. Happened to my Goat but it was worth it, almost 9 years later and it hasn't bubbled or faded.

I agree the negatives are minor, but we try to be fair and balanced.

Tinting is the first thing I have done, before it even leaves the dealer ... 15% all the way around and brow done to the A1 line.

I've got to slow down car's not 30 days old and has 1200 miles on it. Was it hurry to get break in done and oil change and alignment. It is monsoon season here in Ga. hope it stops soon so I can clean it up. Son in-law is coming in the 18th and wants to take a drive I think he really wants one. But a new house may keep him from it.

My side mirrors point down at the rear tires when I put the car in reverse. (Yes, I know I can change it in the menu.) This works great to make sure I don't run over a toddler, but not so good to see where I am going. :kboom:

I went into the menus to find the backup lines and they are nonexistent. There are no lines in the SS backup camera and no option for it. If someone is able to figure it out otherwise, please let us know because I went through every single menu and didn't find anything.
