Am wondering what the differences might be between those Chevy dealers that are categorized as “Performance Part Dealers” vs. those that are not.
E.g., is it simply about being able to efficiently source Performance Parts? Perhaps Performance Parts dealers require more Master Techs on staff and/or they require specific Performance Part rebuild/upgrade experience?
Anyone have any insights/experience here?

And those have got to be the qualifiers - nothing else makes sense.

We sell more GM performance variants than anyone in the market, go through 'Corvette' tech certification annually, and yes - we sell/install GM performance parts.

Yet plug our zip into the "Performance Parts Dealer" locator & we disappear - closest is over 200miles away - WTF???

Thinking maybe a quick call to GM is in order - although I expect there's a fee involved to call yourself "Performance Parts Dealer" - there's always a fee involved....
