Thursday I get the car back from chip repair guy. Good job, you can barely see it.
Yesterday on the way home from VIR, I take another rock about 6 inches away from the first. Exactly 7 days from the first :shithappens:

Gonna stop driving it on Fridays.

I think there needs to be a commercial version of the NASCAR windshield tear offs. Driving home this morning, in my competitive product soon to be sold, I catch a stone square in the windshield in my line of sight. It looks like a half moon and I'm cussing and swearing after having a nice little workout and should be relaxed! Fortunately most of it cleaned off with Windex but I feel your pain my SS brother! BTW my first GXP was MSM and M6...

I've been looking to source a reasonably windshield tearoff for YEARS!!!!
Every time you take any car out you are subject to sandblasting in Florida no matter what road you are on

I wish there was a tear off for the windshield...I commute about 100 miles round trip...I have 8100 on my SS now...I put a clear bra-XPEL on the nose, half way up the hood, mirrors, rear quarter panel and lower doors and rocker panels...Those areas still look brand new, no stone or chips at all...Now mind you, this is S Florida I95, the arm pit road of the country...Bought a GMC Terrain Denali last week for my DD. I didn't want to put those kind of miles on the SS anymore...:biggrin:

I feel your pain.

Better the windshield than the hood! Aluminum skin lands you at a Jaguar (or one of the other mfrs.) certified Aluminum repair body shop = HUGE $ and an argument with your insurance company. I've been keeping up with the new F-150 body repair issues and it's not pretty.
