I don't know if this is because I run iOS beta or not, but I can't get my phone to connect to the bluetooth anymore, unless I unplug and reconnect the dongle.

Quite annoying.

Hopefully it's not the device itself, and it's just the beta software on my phone.

Just giving a heads-up and everyone else.

Update:

After a couple more updates to the iOS beta 12, I'm happy to report that every time I get in the car, my phone prompts me to connect to the device.

I've done a little more testing... still crap hot/humid weather here, so I expect times to be a little slow. But this is what the Performance report showed yesterday. Both screenshots from the same 0-60 run. You may notice that a different value is reported on the different screens. I think they still need to improve the firmware/phone-app a bit. So I don't know how much I trust the reported times.

The faster time is the correct one, of course.
Mine connects fine, so far, with my IPad. Problem with that device is it's too bulky to mount.
Product title clearly states for IOS, but detailed descriptions says it works with Android, it doesn't. The app tells me it's for an earlier version of Android and then closes.

One of the nice features of the iOS App, is that it can record what is going on.

You can then play the recording in the App, so you can watch all the gauges etc, or you can email a CSV file to yourself, which you can then open in the spreadsheet program of your liking.

Here's an example of the spreadsheet. I removed all the GPS fields, because... well... GPS needs more time than 5 seconds to be accurate. Almost every field also has an individual Timestamp attribute, so I removed those also.

Some interesting items from the 0-60.

Max Accel.Forward.Gs = 0.37
Max RPM = 6299
Max Calculated Engine Power = 386 hp

Below is a couple screen shots I took of the spreadsheet, showing the start of the run, and then when it hit 60 mph

386 estimated hp? Your stock, right? If so, that's about 30 high for an A6.

Sounds right, he was only doing 60mph. Read the file, it's Engine HP not RWP. And 356 RWP is high for stock anyway.

ETA: As a courtesy to the OP, a forum sponsor, we should probably have a product review in a separate thread.

@bourmb Yes I'm stock, mechanically wise.

@iratollah Wooops and thanks. I didn't think about the fact that I high jacked the thread, so to @RDP Store, my apologies for taking over your thread.
