"Manufactured" is a mis-characterization of the process for most vehicles, as the great majority are made from components that are globally sourced.
Rare would be a vehicle that is literally manufactured all in one facility--engine, transmission, wheels, tires, body parts, trim, hardware, etc.
That's why GM calls them Assembly Plants.
My Caprice PPV:
Engine/trans - Mexico (North America!)
Tires - USA
Wheels - Turkey (who woulda thunk - stamped right into the steel!)
Body/chassis - Australia
Wiring assemblies - Indonesia & Taiwan
Glass - ???
and the list goes on....
