10 or 10.5 wide rims on rear no rub!!

Hey guys I am on a mission to get the perfect fit on the back of the SS so that I can lower car and not have to worry about rub. Since I own a G8 I know how hard it is to get rims that work on our cars. I am currently working with a vendor who is trying to see if it is possible to make some sets of 20x10 or 20x10.5 with a offset of 60. Will have to verify they will clear brembos. Any one who has a set up that has no rub while being lowered and with people in the back please chime in with offsets. Thanks will keep you guys posted.

my 20x10 +42 with 275s don't rub in the rear

Only time it does is when I load the car full of stuff and people, and hard cornering/going fast over big bumps

The width of the tire is going to matter more than the width of the wheel. How much power do you need to put to the ground? That will guide on how much tire you need.

I was running a square setup, VMR V703 19x9.5 ET33 with 285/35ZR-19 BFGoodrich G-Force COMP-2 on my 2015, and even after rolling the fenders (NOT lowered) I occasionally lightly rubbed, both front and rear, on bad roads or even spirited cornering... Originally put them on before rolling the fenders, and it actually started to tear up the inside fender lips and lightly cutting into the tires, so that's why I did have them rolled. Still have the rims and tires and deciding whether to put them on my new 2016. If I do, not without first rolling the fenders and adjusting the camber, put more negative on both front and rear. Don't think I would be able to lower the car without first getting bodywork pushing the fenders out further.

I'm running a 20x10 +38 and a 285 35 20 with no rubbing. If it was lowered the fenders would need rolled.

the +60 offset is most likely not going work. somewhere around a +50-54 offset is the most popular.

Redeadg8 so people are running 50-54 offset in the rear with 20x10 widewith 285 Michelin pilots no rub without rolling I don't see it. Unless stock height. Goal is no rub under load or happy driving , no rolling required and lowered on 20s. If you have pics guys post please. Thanks
