NICE!!!!!

Too bad the SS falls into the "vanilla, quiet, plain cars" the ad was refering to.

2014 Chevrolet SS = 415hp

Don't be so sure the SS is Vanilla. if our 6 litre SS is anything to go by the 6.2 litre SS should make you never want to get out of the drivers seat. Just plain dumb to not offer a manual is the only concern.

Even though most sites are saying the auto is better. I think this is the classic "grass is greener on the neighbor's side".

If SS was aimed at the commuter driver auto only would not be a problem, but some of the people who want the SS want to "drive" the car, not just go from A to B, with the exception of grange (caprice) all HSV are manual with optional auto

current car

06 calais v
95 honda vf750c

The GTS looks and sounds mean (I even have it as a wallpaper), but let's be realistic: at AUD 93k, who would they be selling it to?

I can already imagine the outcry.
"A Camaro ZL1 can be had for $54k"
"No way I would buy this over a CTS-V"

In the US, that's M5 territory. The poor HSV would struggle, and rightly so.

The GTS does include a substantial luxury tax, but doesn't explain why German luxury in Oz costs up to 3 times for the same vehicle as in the US.
Apple were recently hauled before a senate inquiry and asked why they charged Australians 30% more for music than everyone else in the world. Their response: warehouse storage costs were much more expensive!! I just wish the senators had asked to view MP3's stored on warehouse shelves.
It makes me think of Hitler: Tell a lie often enough and everyone will believe it. Apple refused to change their clearly obvious BS. Such exquisite contempt.
