Another car Chevrolet should have offered here. 300 is maybe right for the Australian and New Zealand market at this price point, but it makes no business sense without selling it here also.
If anything, offer the parts. I am sure there are a few that will be very interested.

A lot of people are whining that the SS isn't $30K. They'd never sell enough over here to make it a viable venture.

Cool video, what language are they speaking? Wish it was subtitled.

it's socially unacceptable to be ahead of your time.

The GTSR would affect CTS-V sales too much.

They could only get 300 engines as they aren't in production anymore. 2min mark he comments on the engine available limiting production.

2017 HSV GTSR and GTSR W1 review

Anyone know what offsets they are using on the w1? Can't seem to find that info.

Ninja edit: reason I ask is I understand the front fenders are wider than production VF2 cars to accommodate the front. That said wondering what they did to the rears to get a 10" wheel to fit with what appears to be a low +50mm offset. I bet they trimmed the wheel lip a bit. The car appears to sit a bit lower too.

It makes absolute sense to me that only 300 are being made and for only Australia and New Zealand. Engine isn't in production anymore and it's Holden that is closing down in their home country. They deserve to have a proper swan song of a car that is Australian, not American. Do I want one...yes. Does the US deserve it...no.
