Livernois Tune - No More Rev Matching?

I'm just trying to alleviate some of my concerns because I'm your typical worry wart. Just want to find out if others had this experience and what the outcome was.

I loaded up the Normal 93 tune on my car today and everything seems to run fine except the car (2016 automatic) no longer rev matches when downshifting in manual mode. When downshifting, the RPM's drop then when the trans starts to grab the gear, the car lurches until the RPM's catch up to the transmission. The downshifts also seem to take longer than before.

I loaded up the stock tune and rev matching was back. Reloaded the Livernois tune and it was gone again.

Drive train is stock except for Solo axle backs which make no difference.

Let me know what ya'll think so I can stop worrying about this!

Here's a video of the fresh loaded stock vs fresh loaded Livernois doing downshifts.

Well, have you contacted the vendor?
That would seem to be the logical place to start since no one else has mentioned having a similar experience.
and, by the way, your video won't play. Says it is unavailable. Must be marked private.

Vid should be fixed. Yes I have reached out to Livernois. The first response was basically the transmission needs to learn. Just before that email I had reloaded the stock tune which didn't need to learn, rev matching returned immediately. I obviously won't be getting an answer tonight since they all have lives and a home so don't work 24/7.

I'm not upset at all with Livernois, don't want this to come across that way. Just figured there is a whole source of information here and many people that have used Livernois tunes. Would just be nice to hear other peoples experience with this.

I like the rev matching. Its corny, but fun. I would miss it if it was gone.

I've never seen that on either of my cars when swapping tunes. I'd wait to see what @LivernoisMotorsports has to say.

Find a better tuner. They're notorious for failing at tuning these transmissions. I can help if needed.

I just installed the Livernois 93 octane tune yesterday, I have not noticed this at all... To be clear you are noticing a faster decline in RPMS when downshifting?
