I call that lucky,not smart. If you think our stock drivetrain can live long term with that power you enjoy fairy tales. Great run, not long term compatible

Borrowed time for sure, they know it... The article said they are taking it easy on the AFR to make sure it lasts for the next event.

Yep, but they are leaning on it heavily. It sort of indicates to me the trans and rear will last on the street.

Yeah I'd think so too. My guess is the rods give first. The Transmission and rear end have actually shown to be pretty tough with the right tune (for the tranny especially).

As was said, that the stock rear end and transmission survived, suggests a totally stock SS is pretty rugged. Don
