To all selling there SS because of brake squeal

Buy rear after market pads don't forget Cooper paste. It's cheaper than taking a loss on trade or outright selling.

this is an awesome tip if I ever start to notice a squeak, but I would almost go so far as to say that if anyone would truly consider getting rid of their SS over something as trivial as a squeal from [performance] brakes, then I hope it happens because that SS deserves better ownership.

I would imagine that z51vett has definitely had brake squeal issues with his SS, could be because of that "cooper" paste.

The squeal doesn't really bother me when it happens. I brake a couple of times and it goes away. I would never consider selling my SS because of brake squeal; it's ludicrous to think someone would.

I've read some of the threads about squealing brakes but have only heard my brakes a couple times when in reverse. Is this a problem with earlier pre-2016 models or with all SSs?

In another post, an OP suggested to do a HARD STOP from speed to clean dust / glaze from the pad surface = I have recently done this and it does seem to help... the squeal is drastically quieter now / less often
