I think this topic has come up before on this forum, but I wouldn't pay anywhere close to $40k for a new '15. That car could've literally been sitting since late 2014, and even best case scenario it would've been sitting for almost a year and a half. We all know the adage about cars that sit, especially outside in the elements. Flat tires and battery would be my biggest concern, but there could be other things to watch out for. To me, a new '15 isn't any more appealing than a low-miles used '15.
